The Cutest Women’s Midi Skirt Sewing Pattern
~ Use this skirt pattern with a midweight woven material. You will also need organza for the under layer, fusible interfacing, invisible zipper, and optional lining!
For main fabric (58″/147 cm width):
~ 2 1/8 yards (2 meters)
For organza (underneath main fabric) (58″/147 cm width):
~ 1 2/3 yards (1.5 meters)
For fusible (iron on) interlining (46”/117 cm width):
~ 1/3 yard (0.3 meters)
For lining (optional) (58″/147 cm width):
~ 1 3/4 yards (1.6 meters)
~ This pattern includes women’s sizing 0-22; this accommodates a true waist range of 25″- 40 1/2″ and low hip range of 34 1/2 – 50″.
~ A serger or overlock machine is always nice to have; however, it is not a requirement for this pattern. If you’d like, you can zig zag the edges on a sewing machine to help prevent fraying.
~ Depending on the fabric you choose, this skirt pattern can be for special occasions, or dressed down for more casual events!
